(TNI Public Affairs Office).  The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) are in the final stages of preparation for the Super Garuda Shield 2025, the largest multinational joint military exercise in Southeast Asia. The event will take place across several training locations in Indonesia, including Baturaja, Dabo Singkep, and Jakarta, in late August.

At the Final Planning Conference held at the Navy Staff and Command School (Seskoal) May 24th, Brigadier General TNI Rudi Hermawan confirmed that preparations have reached 90% completion. The planning process included a Concept Development Conference, Initial and Middle Conferences, sites survey, and the final session now concluded.

This year’s SGS will involve 15 countries, including both force contributors and observers, such as United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, South Korea, France, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, India, Singapore, New Zealand, Cambodia, and Papua New Guinea.

“This exercise symbolizes strong multinational collaboration and interoperability,” said General Rudi.
